Prepping Your Home For Sale

Before putting your home up for sale, there a few things you should do to ensure it will move rapidly. First, do a major cleaning. Have the carpets shampooed, clean the windows and de-clutter the closets. Don’t limit your de-cluttering to the closets. Look at each room as a potential buyer would. Does it feel small and cramped? There may be too many pieces of furniture. Do any minor repairs that are needed such as leaky faucets, broken door handles or chipped paint. You want to show your home in the best possible light because after all, you want to sell it.
